Moritz von Oswald Trio returns with »Dissent«, a striking new album that explores the scope of jazz and dance music within abstracted electronic music – to be released August via Modern Recordings.

Elina Nechayeva, 2019 Eurovision finalist, teams up with Kristjan Järvi and Robot Koch in this new ambient pop sound painting – half story telling, half singing. »Burnt« is based on »Nebula« from Järvi’s recent album »Nordic Escapes« and will be released as a multitrack in three languages: English, Estonian and Russian. It’s the second single of the same-titled album that will be released May 28th via Modern Recordings. Also, we are excited to release “K4” – the fourth of six original compositions by Michael Nyman composed exclusively for Sebastian Knauer who performs the pieces on his upcoming album “The Mozart / Nyman Concert”.

Today we are releasing Van Dyke Parks’ and Verónica Valerio’s newly recorded interpretation of Agustin Lara’s »Veracruz«. It is the first single of their upcoming 10” »Only in America – Solo en América«. Let yourself be taken away by this classic to “a place of pyramids and pre-Columbian history”.

To all vinyl lovers and Pat Metheny fans in the US: the vinyl of »Road To The Sun« will be available this Friday, April 9th. Get a physical copy to enjoy Pat’s compositions at home – performed by Jason Vieaux and the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet (LAGQ). The vinyl is out already in Europe.

Today, Sebastian Knauer shares with us his interpretation of the second movement of the Mozart Sonata K 330. It is the first single of his upcoming album »The Mozart Nyman Concert«. The album features six pieces by Mozart and six original compositions by Michael Nyman – exclusively written for Sebastian Knauer – to be released 4th June. Enjoy
