This Friday, September 16th, Tara Nome Doyle will perform at Kulturhaus Centre Bagatelle in Frohnau, playing her song “Caterpillar” live for the very first time. She will be joined on stage by fellow artist Minru. Tickets are available now.
On Tara Nome Doyle’s recent album, »Værmin«, »Caterpillar« is a big, opulent piece; the new string quartet version on her upcoming EP »æ« reveals nuances of fragility and power. It has been arranged by the Icelandic composer and conductor Viktor Orri Árnason whose score was recorded by the Belgian Echo Collective in Brussels. Doyle wanted to approach her work from a different angle, to further explore the album’s melodies and the relationship between the musical accompaniment and her singing. Her new exploration of her latest album, in form of the upcoming EP “æ”, will be available soon!
